Here are the rules: I tell either six truths and one lie, or six lies and one truth about myself, and you get to figure out which is which. Please leave a fun or silly comment. Everyone so far has offered a prize, so here is my gift to the winner.
Every correct comment will be dropped into my hat and the winner will be drawn by my daughter, Katrina on Sat, May 29th. The winner gets their choice of a free ebook download from any of my novels.

Here's the questions. Good Luck!
1. Characters in two of my stories go aboard the Haunted Queen Mary.
2. Visiting the Ghost Town Bodie, California, my cousin and I took an unauthorized tour of the houses. Luckily, no one knew or you'd see wanted posters there.
3. My husband and I had our Honeymoon aboard the Haunted Queen Mary. Sorry to say there were no ghostly visits.
4. I love to travel and have visited Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Switzerland, Belgium and France.
5. Shakespeare is part of my family.
6.On my adventures in Ireland, I held hands with a seven ft. tall Crusader.
7. I have four dogs, three cats and a guinea pig.
I'm supposed to pass this award on to seven other "creative writers" with their talent to weave a tale of truth or not.
Joanna Aislinn
Mariposa Cruz
Terry Spear
Susan Hanniford Crowley
Skhye Moncrief
Diana Castilleja

Lots of good ones. I'm gonna guess that #6 is a lie. :)
Hmm, there are only 6 items, so if there are either 6 truths, or 6 lies, are all of them the truth or a lie?
Wow, it's hard to decide which is which. You must be a fiction writer. :)
I'm going to say #5 is a lie because Shakespeare didn't have many descendents. Or did you name your cat Shakespeare? LOL.
I was hung on 2 of the items, but I am going with # 6 also.
All very interesting though
Definitely a creative writer here!!!
I think Karen is tricking us. LOL I say all of these are true and #7 would have been the lie if she'd included it. LOL VERY CREATIVE~~
Thank you, Lisa, Jacquie, Amy and Rebecca for stopping by and playing. If I haven't already, I'll e-mail you and tell you if you're right or not. :)
I'd have to agree with Jacquie and pick #5. Karen, if you haven't already, you have to come up to the Lake Tahoe Shakespeare Festival. Shakespeare with Tahoe as a backdrop there's nothing like it!
Shakespeare Festival and in Tahoe--sounds like fun. :)
I'll guess 5 is a lie.
I have seen this at a couple of authors sites. What fun!
You only have six of seven...I'm thinking one is a lie and I think the lie is #5.
Have a great week Karen!
Hmmm... I think #5 is a tall tale!
Though it would be a cool tale if it's true and you could definitely claim your writing talent as a familial trait!

I'm guessing No. 5 is a lie - the 7 foot tall crusader is interesting but it could be a statue.
These are fun! I'm going to guess #5 is the "untruth". Can't wait to find out.
I'm going to go with six truths and one lie, Karen, and the lie is Number Seven - chosen because we authors couldn't possibly afford to feed eight animals! Hee,hee....

Nicole, Martha, Desirée, P.L. EA, Cherie,
Thank you for coming by and playing the game. Stay tune, I'll announce the lie or truth on Sat. May 29th!
I'm guessing #7 is a fib lol
Hi Gail,
Maybe, maybe not.
Don't forget to come by Sat. to see if you're right. :)
1. Characters in two of my stories go aboard the Haunted Queen Mary. True. Gillian in Creighton Manor stays aboard the Queen Mary, where a spirit guide (which happens to be a lovable mutt) shows her where the veil between times are thin and will allow time travel.
In my short story, A Spirit of Love, featured in the anthology Second Time Around, Travis and Brynna are paranormal investigators on an assignment aboard the Queen Mary. A ghost story with a sweet twist.
2. Visiting the Ghost Town Bodie, California, my cousin and I took an unauthorized tour of the houses. Luckily, no one knew or you'd see wanted posters there. True. We were only teenagers at the time. We were waiting to take an official tour and decided to do a little exploring on our own. You'd think we would have been smart enough to realize the houses were boarded up and if that didn't ring some bells, the fact that the houses looked ready to fall on our heads should have been a big clue to keep out. When we took the tour, the guide made a point to tell everyone--for your own safety, don't go in the buildings. Oops, too late.
3. My husband and I had our Honeymoon aboard the Haunted Queen Mary. Sorry to say there were no ghostly visits. True. We stayed aboard the Queen Mary. I just love the old girl.
4. I love to travel and have visited Ireland, Italy, Scotland, Switzerland, Belgium and France. False I've never been to Switzerland, but I'd love to go there someday.
5. Shakespeare is part of my family. True. My hound dog is named Shakespeare. hee hee--I know that was a little sneaky.
6.On my adventures in Ireland, I held hands with a seven ft. tall Crusader. True.
We took a tour below St. Michan's church in Ireland where there are mummies. One mummy is a 7ft tall Crusader and it's considered good luck to touch his hand. It wasn't until later that I realized I just touched a dead guy. Yikes!
7. I have four dogs, three cats and a guinea pig. True. Yep, we have a zoo.
dogs: Shakespeare, Jack, Brutis, Penny
cats: Bryn, TigerLilly, McGregor
guinea pig: Brownie
Thank you, everyone for coming by and participating in the game. I hope you had as much fun trying to figure out the truth or the lie as I did putting the Whopper of a Story or Not together.
Take Care and have a happy and safe Memorial Weekend!
